Pinned for the trip
Good to know before you go.
Four small habits that keep a travel eSIM painless.
Install on Wi-Fi
The eSIM downloads over the internet, so add it at home or at the hotel before you need it.
Keep your SIM for calls
Your regular SIM can stay on for calls and texts while the eSIM handles data. Your home carrier’s rates apply to those.
Data on the eSIM, roaming on
Point mobile data at the travel eSIM and turn its roaming on. What each plan includes is listed on its page.
Check your phone first
Many recent phones support eSIM, but it depends on the model, where it was sold and whether it’s carrier-locked.
Compatibility
Will it work on my phone?
eSIM support depends on your exact model, the country it was sold in and whether it's locked to a carrier. Check yours on our device list before you buy.
